У роки Другої світової війни словацькому теслі Тоно Бртко в рамках програми ариізації від свояка дістається невеликий магазин старої єврейки Розалії Лаутманн, яка торгує гудзиками. Дружина Тоно сподівається, що магазин принесе їхній родині прибуток, і вони незабаром з чоловіком розбагатіють. Тоно ж прекрасно розуміє, що свояк підсунув йому абсолютно бідний магазин і ніякого прибутку від нього йому не бачити. Але він боїться пояснити це дружині, через її лютий характер, і також не може пояснити старій Лаутманн, що тепер він є господарем її майна...

У роки Другої світової війни словацькому теслі Тоно Бртко в рамках програми ариізації від свояка дістається невеликий магазин старої єврейки Розалії Лаутманн, яка торгує гудзиками. Дружина Тоно сподівається, що магазин принесе їхній родині прибуток, і вони незабаром з чоловіком розбагатіють. Тоно ж прекрасно розуміє, що свояк підсунув йому абсолютно бідний магазин і ніякого прибутку від нього йому не бачити.
