Так почалося нашестя по Росії страшного і загадкового Распутіна... Історичної правди у фільмі трохи. Це спроба зрозуміти, хто ж був ця людина - диявол, що молився в церкві і лікуючий людей накладенням хреста або Божа людина, що вимагає влади і чужої смерті.
