Це аж ніяк не влаштовує його дівчину, яка не бажає носити хіджаб і віддає перевагу більш поміркованій версії ісламу. Фільм "На шляху" актуальний не лише в контексті ісламського радикалізму, адже він розповідає універсальну історію глибокого перетворення людини, в чиєму житті з’являється потужна та всеохопна ідея.
