У центрі сюжету опиняється Маґне — хворий на дислексію хлопець, який повернувся в рідне містечко Едда разом з матір’ю і молодшим братом. У новій школі він подружився з Ізольдою — активісткою з охорони навколишнього середовища, яка веде канал на YouTube, де розповідає про деградацію міста і швидке танення льодовиків. В тому що, відбуваються природні катаклізми дівчина звинувачує впливову родину Ютул, яка займається протиправною діяльністю. Однак лише завдяки Маґне Ізольді нарешті вдається з’ясувати, що дії родини багатіїв набагато страшніші, ніж вона припускала.
