Mick is an ex-convict that is straight now, working as a janitor in a porno shop and living in the decadent and filthy Golden Eagle hotel in Los Angeles. He tells Tommy that he has saved 2.5 thousand dollar and has bought two tickets to Las Vegas for them. Mick's intention is to find a job in a casino and begin a new life with his old friend in a nice place. The dirty Golden Eagle is a joint where prostitutes meet clients and losers and decadent people live. When Mick goes to work his last night in his job, Tommy brings the prostitute Amber to the room to have sex with her. Amber works with her friend Sally on the streets and their pimp is the strong Rodan that is luring the fifteen year-old runaway Loriann, promising that she will become a cinema actress. Tommy fails with Amber and she mocks him. Tommy gets angry and kills Amber. When Mick returns to his room, he finds her body. Will that be the end of Mick's dreams?

Сюжет (англ.) This is a movie within a TV movie within a made-for-video movie. A boy is watching TV when a power outage forces him to talk to his grandpa for entertainment. His grandpa, a former screenwriter, re-tells an old screenplay about Merlin's Shop of Mystical Wonders. In it, Merlin sets up an enchanting store in a modern-day strip mall, accompanied by his gleeful wife and gnomes, snakes, dragons, etc. From this framing device, we then see two stories about people's encounters with items from the shop. The first sequence (created for this film but looking like an episode of "Tales From The Darkside") involves a pompous, cranky newspaper critic who begins casting spells using Merlin's spell book. Сюжет Серіал розповідає про життя продавця взуття на ім'я Ел Банді. Ел одружений вже багато років. Він вічно голодний, оскільки дружина Пеггі ніколи не готує і взагалі не виконує домашню роботу, дивиться увесь день ток-шоу і серіали. У них двоє дітей: красуня Келлі і сексуально заклопотаний Бад (починаючи з 14-ти років). Уся родина не любить один одного. Вони постійно знущаються один з одного (особливо над Елом). Але попри це, вони завжди залишатимуться разом, і їх важче розлучити, ніж здається.
