Енді Макдавелл — американська модель і кіноактриса.
Народилась у містечку Ґаффні (шт. Південна Кароліна, США) у родині заготівельника деревини і вчителя музики.
Енді (тоді Роуз) Макдавелл покинула навчання у Вінтропському коледжі (Winthrop College) в 1978 році і подалася до м. Колумбія (Південна Кароліна), де жила декілька років зі своєї сестрою Беверлі (Babs), працюючи офіціанткою в одному з перших дискоклубів, що з’явилися у 1970-і рр. з числа Carolina Beach Clubs. Також модель з’явилася на телеекрані в рекламі Calvin Klein, що й обумовило зацікавлення нею кіношників, що почали запрошувати модель на кінопроби.
Дебютом у кіно Енді Макдавелл уважається стрічка 1984 року «Ґрейстоук — легенда про Тарзана, володаря мавп». По тому, в 1985 році, ще була невелика роль у фільмі «Вогонь святого Ельма», і, здавалось, кінокар’єра МакДавелл зайшла в глухий кут.
Однак чотири роки по тому кіномайбутнє актриси отримало реальний шанс — відомий режисер Стівен Содеберґ запросив її в 1989 році на зйомки у стрічці «Секс, брехня та відео». Нова поява на широкому екрані принесла актрисі популярність і низку відзнак і премій кінокритиків та нові кіноролі, що стали зірковими — у стрічках Зелена картка, «Предмет краси», «Короткі історії».
У 1990-і Енді Макдавелл досягла піку популярності завдяки комедії 1993 року «День бабака» і світовому блокбастеру 1994 року «Чотири весілля і одні похорони», де зіграла з найпопулярнішим британським актором Г’ю Ґрантом.

Cedar Cove is a quaint, picturesque town on an island in Puget Sound in Washington state. Its residents are old fashioned in their values, neighbors on the most part trying to help neighbors, and people not locking their doors in their trust of their neighbors. The moral center and compass of the town is Olivia Lockhart, the bicycle riding, scarf wearing municipal court judge who grew up in the town. Regardless of her being the focus for many in town, Olivia's life has not been issue-free, she long ago having gone through a divorce from her physician ex-husband, the dissolution of their marriage largely due to the accidental drowning death of their son, Jordan, when he was thirteen, that incident from which they as a couple could not recover. Also affected was Jordan's twin sister, Justine, now a young woman, who has been struggling to find her place in life ever since. Much like the town is being pulled in different directions, such as by cutthroat developer Warren Saget, Olivia is often pulled in different directions, personally and professionally, which one day make take her away from Cedar Cove. In the former category is her search for love. Through it all, she acts as supporter and supportee to her friends and family, including librarian Grace Sherman, her best friend since they were children.

Together with his friends and his 'Guardian Angel', Benny, he buys tickets to events and sells them off at highly increased prices. This doesn't really make him rich and proves to be more difficult than usual when a new guy gets into town, strong-arming all of Gary's sources. But then the gift of heaven arrives. The Pope is coming for a visit. Gary wants to make a lot of money on this so he can finally get one of his (more decent) plans for Linda off the ground and really work on a lasting relationship with her.
