Олексій Анатолійович Шелигін (нар. 28 жовтня 1960, Москва, СРСР) - радянський і російський композитор. Член Спілки композиторів Росії. Член Спілки театральних діячів Російської Федерації. Член Спілки кінематографістів Російської Федерації, Гільдії професійних композиторів, член правління Гільдії композиторів кіно Спілки кінематографістів РФ.
Навчався у Музичному училищі ім. Іполитова-Іванова, педагогом Шелигіна з фортепіано була Роза Йосипівна Рюміна, яка раніше навчала Аллу Пугачову. Випускник ... Московської державної консерваторії ім. І. Чайковського (теоретико-композиторський факультет; закінчив у 1984 році, захистивши дипломну роботу «Виразні засоби рок-музики»). Учень композитора Едісона Денісова (клас інструментування). Служив в армії два роки у гірській піхоті.
Після закінчення консерваторії та служби в армії працював як концертмейстер у Державному училищі циркового та естрадного мистецтва (ГУЦЕІ) та одночасно наукового співробітника в Інституті історії мистецтв, підробляв на весіллях піаністом. Творчу діяльність у театрах поєднував із роботою старшого викладача ГІТІСу (РАТІ).
У 1988 році написано музику до вистави «Коло» режисера Тетяни Ахрамкової, де Шелигін кілька років виконував також роль тапера. З 1989 по 1991 р. завідував музичною частиною у Московському Театрі ім. Маяковського і написав музику до чотирнадцяти спектаклів. Музичний керівник театру «Третій напрямок» Спілки композиторів Росії. З 1991 року пише музику до програм російського телебачення: «СНІД-інфо-відео», «Театр плюс ТВ», «Ляльки», авторські програми Леоніда Парфьонова, цикл «Нова історія» та іншим. Співпрацює з Юхимом Любінським та студією Dixi-TV, композитор більшості проектів компанії («Глухар», «Мій чоловік — геній», «Карпов»).
У 1996 році відбулися міжнародні прем'єри опери «Полін… Полін» (Франція) та мюзиклу «Каштанка» (Німеччина). 1997 року — співпраця з відомим канадським балетмейстером Кімом Франком на постановці опери-балету «У пошуках чудового».
У 1999 році завоював національну премію кінокритики «Золотий Овен» за музику до фільму «Небо в алмазах». Крім цього, Олексій Шелигін - володар трьох телевізійних премій "ТЕФІ" (програми "Ляльки", "Театр плюс ТБ", "Живий Пушкін", фільм "Штрафбат" (як член знімальної групи)); театральної премії "Чайка" за музику до вистави "Сірано де Бержерак" (2001); двох премій «Рекорд'» за саундтреки, що найбільше продаються («Бригада» (2002) і «Бій з тінню» (2005)). У 2010 році став володарем «Нікі» за музику до фільму «Петя дорогою в Царство Небесне», а в 2011 році – премії «Золотий носоріг» за музику до серіалу «Меч». 2016-го удостоєний призу фестивалю «Віче» за найкращу музику до фільму («Головний»).
Шелигін – автор головної музичної теми концертів Михайла Задорнова. Працює з такими режисерами, як Василь Пічул, Костянтин Худяков, Вадим Дубровицький, Дмитро Астрахан, Олександр Аравін, Микола Досталь, Олександр Мітта, Алла Сурікова та інші.
Композитор – понад 30 театральних постановок. Співпрацював з Володимиром Мірзоєвим (мюзикл «Валенсіанські безумці», «Кін IV», «Жарт мецената», «Любовний напій», «Амфітріон», «Приборкання норовливої», «Дванадцята ніч», «Колекція Пінтера», «Сірано де Берже, («Московська історія-1205»), Андрієм Жолдаком та іншими режисерами.
Окрім театру та кіно, Шелигін працює у жанрі академічної музики. Автор багатьох симфонічних творів, зокрема: альтового концерту, сонати для альта, «Теми та метаморфози Кавалера Рози» та концерту для скрипки «Viva, Vivaldi!», написаних для Світлани Безродної, фортепіанного концерту, фортепіанних п'єс, сюїт. 13 травня 2013 року відбулася прем'єра музичного дійства «Слово про похід Ігорів», написаного на замовлення Ансамблю Дмитра Покровського до 40-річного ювілею колективу.
Автор кількох опер: «Пригоди Незнайки» (2005, поставлена в театрі ім. Наталії Сац), рок-опери «Цар-дівиця» за М. Цвєтаєвою (2009; поставлена в Новосибірську), «Продавець іграшок» (прем'єра - 23 листопада 2012) однойменній книзі Віктора Добросоцького; лібретто Кирила Крастошевського).
