Олексій Девотченко - російський актор театру і кіно заслужений артист Російської Федерації (відмовився від звання в 2011 році). Олексій Девотченко народився в Ленінграді, в 1972-1982 роках навчався в школі № 179 Калінінського району. Ще в школі почав грати в Театрі юнацької творчості (ТЮТ) при Ленінградському палаці піонерів. Після школи вступив до Ленінградського державного інституту театру, музики і кінематографії імені Н. К. Черкасова, потрапив в майстерню Аркадія Кацмана, але на другому курс ... і призвали до армії. Після повернення з армії повернувся в майстерню Льва Додіна. У 1990 році закінчив інститут. У 2001 році виїхав з сім'єю до Німеччини за програмою контингентних біженців, але потім повернувся. З 2012 року Девотченко жив в Москві, в Санкт-Петербурзі у нього залишилися дружина Світлана і син Кирило. Його дружина закінчила театрознавчий факультет Ленінградського інституту театру музики і кінематографії, працювала в Театрі юного глядача, де і познайомилася з Олексієм. 5 листопада 2014 року Олексій Девотченко був знайдений мертвим в орендованій квартирі в Москві. 8 листопада 2014 року в «Гоголь-центрі» відбулося прощання з Олексієм Девотченко.
