Фуруя — звичайний учень, що вчиться в звичайній школі для хлопців. Але в нього є одне незвичайне захоплення — він обожнює зомбі. І ця пристрасть вже дійшла до того, що він не дивиться на звичайних дівчат, а мріє лише про дівчину-зомбі. Проте він розуміє, що цьому не судилося збутися. Але одного дня йому до рук потрапляє чийсь чи то записник, чи то книжка про те, як воскресити людину чи тварину у вигляді зомбі. Він вирішує на практиці випробувати істинність описаних в книжці рецептів. І тут якраз випадає нагода. Його улюблений кіт, Бабу, помирає. Зілля він варить у покинутій будівлі на околиці міста, і тут, одного дня, доля зводить його з Санка Реа. Ця дівчина вчиться у дівочій академії Санка і до того ж справжня красуня.
