The story is accompanied by a warning to adults who listen Rodrigo, including Giulia and Virginio Orsini. Rodrigo, Lucrezia and Cesare are transformed as they endorse their new roles, sometimes an inspiration to others, sometimes manipulative attempt to influence them.
