In Tijuana, Baja California, life becomes unbearable for a woman who is constantly harassed by a neighbor. Seeking peace and a fresh start, she decides to leave everything behind and cross into the United States in hopes of building a safer life.

A group of young gang members dedicate their lives to robbery and kidnapping, building a reputation through violence and intimidation. While one of them attempts to leave that life behind and start over, the others continue down the same criminal path — some ending up in prison, others remaining active in the underworld. Twenty years later, the gang is still operating.
