Сюжет
Пенсіонер з Пекіна пан Ши, овдовілий і самотній, прилітає до Спокана, щоб підтримати єдину доньку Їлан після болісного розлучення. Він сподівається повернути їй віру в кохання й навіть підштовхнути до нового шлюбу, та Їлан тримає батька на дистанції й уникає відвертості. Напруга зростає, коли він викриває її роман із одруженим росіянином, а вона згадує давні чутки про його можливу зраду в Китаї. На тлі взаємних образ батько несподівано зближується з іранською жінкою: попри мовний бар’єр між ними народжується ніжність, що змушує обох переосмислити сім’ю, провину й шанс на новий початок у чужій країні.

He's depressed, withdrawing from work, missing meetings with investors. He wants a connection, so he offers her $10,000 to spend three nights with him in Vegas, and she accepts with conditions.
