6.2 Сюжет
Смертельна битва, результат якої визначить долю миру на Землі, закінчилась поразкою могутнього воїна Шан Цунґа – переможцем вийшов молодий монах храму Ордена Світла Кун Лао. Могутній володар зовнішнього світу Шао Кан суворо покарав Шан Цунґа, зіславши його до кобальтових копалень, куди потрапляли переможені воїни з різних захоплених світів. В цей час закоханого Кун Лао и охоронця Сіро виганяє зі своїх володінь батько Джен – дівчини, у яку закоханий Кун Лао, батько категорично не згоден зі шлюбом його дочки та Кун Лао. За допомоги відчайдушної злодійки Тажі вони намагаються викрасти Джен, але Скорпіон, вірний воїн Шан Цунґа, вбиває дівчину. Наставник Кун Лао – бог грому Рейден, доручає Кун Лао зібрати кращих бійців Землі для наступної Смертельної битви. Однак знаходячись в заключенні, Шан Цунґ збирає могутню армію, намагаючись відродити свою владу.

Сюжет
