В основі казкової анімаційної історії – міф корінних народів Америки про створення світу, де людина не є вінцем творіння, а лише його часткою. Розповідь про Старця, який створює життя з глини, і кожне його нове творіння змінює весь світ, надихає підлітків-індіанців на боротьбу з будівництвом нафтопроводу, яке проходить бульдозером по священних віруваннях народу.
