У недалекому майбутньому після глобальної кризи світ живе в атмосфері ізоляції та тривоги. Старшокласниця Менді, філіппіно-австралійка, намагається впоратися з навчанням і розлученням батьків. Вона шукає підтримку в спілкуванні з репетиторкою, до якої відчуває симпатію. Паралельно розгортається історія дівчини з Маніли, що показує інший бік життя.
