Біографія
Марґарету фон Тротту (1942) зазвичай згадують в одному ряду з найвідомішими німецькими режисерами 60-70-х років, творцями яскравого явища, що сформувалося під впливом французької “нової хвилі” (а також спільних для всієї Західної Європи молодіжних бунтарських рухів) і котре найчастіше так і називають – “нове німецьке кіно”. З одним із цих режисерів, Фолькером Шльондорфом, вона була у 1971–1991 роках одружена; як акторка вона знімалася на межі 60-х і 70-х років у його фільмах (упереміш із фільмам ... и їхнього колеґи Фасбіндера), і саме на пару зі Шльондорфом зняла свою першу повнометражну стрічку – “Спаплюжена честь Катарини Блюм” (1975, за однойменним романом Гайнріха Бьоля).
