Фільм розповість про найкращого зі стюардів, якого звуть Ларрі. Він – неймовірний ловелас, обов'язково запримітить красуню і затягне її в ліжко, будь то нова прекрасна стюардеса, або випадкова чудова пасажирка. Але час не стоїть на місці і навіть в роботі стюардів очікуються зміни – їх може замінити неземної краси робот-дівчина для скорочення витрат авіакомпанії. Ларрі повинен врятувати ситуацію і довести, що неможливо замінити людину андроїдом. Для цього влаштовується змагання між неймовірно красивим роботом і суперстюардом Ларрі. Від цього змагання залежить доля сотень людей.

Емі і Нік Данни були, якщо подивитися з боку, зразковою парою. Під час кризи вони залишають Манхеттен, де жили, і переїжджають в Міссурі, рідне для Ніка місто. Проживши разом вже п'ять років, чоловік і дружина збираються влаштувати річницю весілля, на яку повинні прийти їхні близькі та знайомі. Однак гостей чекає сюрприз - зразковий чоловік заявляє, що Емі зникла. Хмари репортерів і поліцейських, чорна слава для чоловіка зниклої жінки і величезна кількість підозр, що саме Нік Данн розправився зі своєю коханою.
