Чим частіше він дивиться на« білих комірців », які сидять за столами в численних компаніях та корпораціях, тим більше йому хочеться опинитися на їхньому місці. І одного разу Фінч вирішує виконати свою мрію. Він купує книгу «Як досягти успіху в бізнесі, нічого не роблячи», вивчає її від корки до корки і влаштовується в відділ пошти у «Всесвітню компанію хвірток». Коли сатирик Шеперд Мід писав книгу «Як досягти успіху в бізнесі, нічого не роблячи», він напевно не підозрював, що вона стане біблією всіх «білих комірців» і іншого офісного планктону, oj просиджує стільці в численних корпораціях, холдингах і акціонерних товариствах.
