Сюжет

Стрічка розповідає про зникнення молодої жінки під час подорожі на човні в Середземному морі та подальші її пошуки. Фільм знімали в Римі, на Еолійських островах і на Сицилії в 1959 р. у важких матеріальних і фізичних умовах. Фільм відомий своїм незвичайним темпом, який підкреслює візуальну композицію, настрій і характер, а не традиційний розвиток оповіді.

L'Avventura була номінована на численні нагороди та отримала приз журі на Каннському кінофестивалі 1960 року. Ця стрічка-перший фільм трилогії Антоніоні, за яким слідують La Notte (1961) і L'Eclisse (1962).
