Сюжет
Чорний метеорит, що впав на Землю, назавжди змінив світ, породивши монстрів, яких назвали D2. D2 заборонили всю музику, оскільки це було єдине, що могло їх убити. Але є люди, які чинять опір монстрам. Це молоді жінки, які володіють силою музики — м'юзікарти. Вони володіють «партитурами», які здатні перемогти монстрів. Також є люди, які керують м'юзікартами — «диригенти». Дії аніме відбувається у зруйнованій D2 Америці у 2047 році. Такт — диригент і напарник м'юзікарти, на ім'я Уммей. Він бажає повернути музику світу, а Уммей — знищити D2. Разом вони вирушають до Нью-Йорка.
