Під час сильного снігопаду в лютому 1910 року при народженні помирає Урсула Тод, але неймовірним чином доля надає їй другий шанс. Запускається альтернативна лінія життя, в якій лікар встигає приїхати на виклик і перерізати пуповину навколо шиї дівчинки, дозволивши їй зробити перший подих.
