Копенгаген кінця 1910-х років. На Заході триває Перша світова війна, але життя в Данії також є щоденною боротьбою за виживання. На одній з найбільших фабрик Кароліне (Вік Кармен Сонне) разом з сотнями інших жінок шиє військові мундири. Її чоловік давно зник на фронті, і вона не може дозволити собі винаймати квартиру, в якій вони жили раніше. Коли темноволоса швачка вступає в роман зі спадкоємцем фабрики та вагітніє від нього, вона постає перед низкою важких моральних виборів.

Його відправляють в після воєнний Ірак, який тепер рвуть на частини урядові агенти та представники могутніх нафтових корпорацій. Обжитися на новому місці і вникнути в справи йому допомагає його начальник, що знає регіон зсередини - дипломат Паша. Чим більше Майкл дізнається, тим сильніше міцніють підозри у великій змові на найвищому рівні. Відкрити її - значить поставити під удар власне життя і життя його наставника і курдської жінки, яку він кохає.

Sun, sand, and sea are not things that appear on his top ten list. The case is supposedly just a simple divorce, but as soon as Michael Helge sets feet on French soil, everything goes wrong. He gets hustled for 10 million kroner of the company's money, and suddenly the future looks less bright. Fortunately, he meets his old friend, the frivolous gambler Theo, and together they plan how to get all the money back in a true James Bond style...

Anne (37) has given up finding a man, who will fit in to her sensible and controlled life. She has therefore decided to get inseminated with a carefully selected sperm donor. But as her hormones get the better of her she realizes that the child may come to resemble the father and possibly get his less flattering characteristics. Anne feels compelled to find the sperm donor and ensure that he is as perfect as she imagines. She begins to stalk him and slowly but surely she gets involved in his life and finds out that he is far from her idea of a perfect man. Against all odds chemistry occurs between them and Anne has to decide between being in control of her life or letting go and see what love brings.
