Сюжет
Барон Манфред вон Ріштофен-Прославлений льотчик німецьких повітряних сил під час Першої Світової війни. Для нього і його товаришів, повітряні бої-звичайне явище, виклик техніки й шляхетні вчинки, що ігнорують жах війни. Але після того як Барон закохується у медсестру Гіді, він розуміє що є лише засобом пропаганди. Коливаючись між відразою до війни й відповідальністю перед бойовими крильми, вон Ріштофен має намір літати знову.
Сюжет
