Двоє старих приятелів (Пеші та Гловер) вирушають на риболовлю, але з самого початку їх переслідують неприємності. Вони також стикаються з грабіжником, якого розшукують за вбивство, шукають скарби і зустрічають двох чарівних жінок… Пеші та Гловер добре спрацювались на “Смертельних зброях”, і тут це помітно – інколи їм дійсно вдається бути смішними. В усьому іншому – нічим не видатна, звичайна голлівудська комедія про невдах, успіх у прокаті був посереднім.
