До середини 21 століття людство остаточно освоїть океан і колонізує його. Навіть у найглибших океанічних западинах з'являться шахти, заводи і підприємства. Для підтримки правопорядку в підводному просторі буде створена Організація Об'єднаних Океанів Землі. Експериментальна бойова субмарина "SeaQuest" повинна стати флагманом підводної поліції.
Сюжет

Розробивши теорію про те, що людина може подорожувати в часі в межах тривалості власного життя, доктор Сем Беккет на базі в пустелях Нью-Мехіко очолив надсекретний проект, названий «Квантовий Стрибок» (Quantum Leap). Опинившись перед необхідністю підтвердити свою теорію або втратити фінансування, доктор Беккет зробив крок в квантовий прискорювач і... зник.Прокинувшись, він розуміє, що потрапив в пастку минулого. Доктор Беккет приймає вигляд інших людей, намагаючись виправити те, що колись було зроблене не так.
Сюжет
