В основі казкової анімаційної історії – міф корінних народів Америки про створення світу, де людина не є вінцем творіння, а лише його часткою. Розповідь про Старця, який створює життя з глини, і кожне його нове творіння змінює весь світ, надихає підлітків-індіанців на боротьбу з будівництвом нафтопроводу, яке проходить бульдозером по священних віруваннях народу. Голос предків підштовхує їх на порятунок Землі від корпоративної жадібності, хижацького споживання ресурсів та, як наслідок, нехтування екологією. «Тільки тоді, коли загине останнє дерево, буде отруєна остання річка і спіймана остання риба, ми зрозуміємо, що гроші не можна їсти». Через історію створення Всесвіту, мультфільм підкреслює важливість життя людини у гармонії з природою та навколишнім середовищем. «Чотири душі Койота» – це історія про спільну відповідальність людей одне за одного і за планету, яку ми населяємо.

Lara (Eleanor Tomlinson) and her estranged father, Dr. Hill (Stephen Rea), travel behind the iron curtain to a decrepit castle outside the Hungarian town of Styria. In the nearby woods, Lara witnesses a car crash. Carmilla, (Julia Pietrucha), escapes from the wreckage as a driver attempts to run her over. When Lara hides this beautiful and mysterious stranger in the castle, the two start an intense and chaotic friendship. As their relationship deepens, the young women of Styria begin to go mad. When local girls are found dead from apparent suicides, Lara wonders if Carmilla is to blame or is there a darker secret behind the mass hysteria destroying the town.
