Марі не закривала ротяку ні на хвилину, часом доводила до відчаю свою мовчазну й соромливу дочку на прізвисько Голосок.Та постійно слухала платівки, виснажуючи матір, і намагалася наслідувати майстрів вокалу. Може, коли-небудь дійшло б і до рукоприкладства, якби не з'явися одноо разу у місті стародавній дружок Марі - Рей Сей.
Йому не таланило ніколи, але цього разу він почув удачу, розгледівши у дівчині талант, і жваво узявся за діло, не забуваючи про власний інтерес.
