Сем та Едді — двоє нетямущих і безголосих співаків-любителів, укотре зазнавши фіаско на сцені, вирішують покинути музику. Але їхнє життя змінюється після того, як вони зустрічають боса мафії, що сплутав двійко недоумків з професійними зломщиками сейфів. Пригрозивши жорстокою розправою, мафіозі наказує дуету невдах пограбувати три сейфи, в одному з яких зберігається престижний хокейний кубок «Стенлі». Чи зможуть Сем та Едді проявити себе на новому кримінальному поприщі та впоратися з небезпечним завданням?
Сюжет

У процвітаючого власника авіакомпанії (Гібсон) викрадають сина і вимагають викуп в 2 мільйони доларів. Ми весь час бачимо і викрадачів, і батьків, що роздираються страхом і тривогою. Гібсон за наполяганням дружини повідомляє про викрадення у ФБР, і глядач бачить детально виписану роботу фахівців у контакті з батьком. З'ясовується, що у минулому у Гібсона була чорна пляма - він дав свого часу хабар і уникнув в'язниці, куди потрапила інша людина.Сюжет
