Transgender egomaniac Liv is hired to avert a PR disaster at a supermarket, but she soon realises she is un-sackable and turns the store into a playground.
Liv is suspicious of birthday boy Tom and co-worker Millie's newfound friendship, and Simon tries to instil a sense of safety in his staff but causes chaos.
When transphobic graffiti is discovered in the women's toilets, only brooding assistant manager Tom Rice can bring the mystery bigot to justice.
Simon and his team meet behind Liv's back at the local pub to discuss her future employment, and a mysterious teenager arrives to rob the supermarket.
Simon chooses to shun humans after his divorce and floods the store with AI technology that creates a nightmare and brings out the worst in everybody.
When Liv reveals a terrible secret, Simon and his team must lie their way through to midnight at a fancy New Year's Eve gala before Liv's shame is unveiled.
