But perhaps the most important of these to her is the opening of her new play, which she is testing in Edinburgh, important in that she wants to be seen as an actress; and an appearance on a celebrity version of The Apprentice (2004), important in that it will mark her first appearance on NBC since being blacklisted by them for her disagreement with Johnny Carson over the start of her own talk show on rival Fox back in 1989. Through the year, several long time supporters are at her side, including daughter Melissa Rivers, personal assistant 'Jocelyn Pickett', and manager Bill Sammeth, but all is not smooth even in this part of her life.

Along with his hardworking wife and two enthusiastic kids by his side, he ventured into a field unknown to contemporary India. Making of India's first feature film, 'Raja Harishchandra' was an amazing adventure. The Phalke family encountered mostly funny but also a few grave situations during their journey of film making. They were a team of crazy yet lovable people that helped in winning over patrons and eventually money. Together, not only did they deliver the first Indian film, but they had ensured it to become the first super hit film too! In 1914, Phalke refused offers from his English friends to make films in London. His reason for the refusal was - 'I must keep making films in India, so that it gets established as an industry at home'. The rest is history.

Історія екранізації класичного художнього фільму «Мері Поппінс». Коли Волт Дісней пообіцяв своїм донькам зняти фільм за їхньою улюбленою книгою, казкою Памели Треверс «Мері Поппінс», він і не підозрював, що на виконання цієї обіцянки йому знадобиться більше двадцяти років. У спробі отримати права на екранізацію книги, Волт зіткнувся з норовливою британською письменницею, яка ніяк не хотіла, щоб її улюблена героїня була «зіпсована» голівудським підходом до створення фільмів. Лише на початку шістдесятих вона погодилася особисто приїхати у Лос -Анджелес і почати переговори щодо екранізації. Поки тривали переговори з письменницею Дісней перепробував усі хитрощі: він презентував ідеї та ескізи до фільму, намагався вразити письменницю чудовою музикою і влаштовував екскурсії до Діснейленду. Проте Треверс не погоджувалась на жодні вмовляння і знаменитий кінематографіст мало не відмовився від свого задуму.

Сюжет
