A shipment of drugs laced with atropine triggers tragic events: a man kills his dog, a boy commits suicide, a mother threatens her son. Vitale investigates to stop the massacre. Meanwhile, Gabriele Coppola, to help his father in debt, begins to commit crimes, but his inexperience gets him into trouble. The Sansone clan is running the drug trade in the neighborhood: its members must be identified quickly to solve the problem.
