In the snowy mountains of Hokkaido, Yusuke has a grand proposal prepared for his girlfriend Saeko — but their journey takes an unexpected turn.
Thanks to a successful heart transplant, Naruse gains a new lease on life and surprising new habits. Later, a train delay leads to a fateful meeting.
Saeko can't help but see Yusuke in Naruse, especially when his words eerily echo her late fiancé’s. Naruse experiences a terrifying flashback.
Despite deliberately trying to distance herself from Naruse, Saeko runs into him at work. An unexpected typhoon leads them to share a touching moment.
As Saeko and Naruse come to terms with who the heart donor might have been, Naruse tries to learn more about Yusuke as a person.
Before the accident, Saeko and Yusuke briefly encounter Naruse on a rainy day. In the present, Saeko and Naruse take a day trip down memory lane.
