Paul Cassidy, a cop from Earth, is transported to another world by an evil scientist named Dr. Benign. But when he discovers a magical suit and talking gauntlets in an underground chamber, Paul transforms into a new hero: Apollo Gauntlet.
Prince Eros returns to the Kingdom of Bellenus and threatens to usurp Apollo Gauntlet's position as local hero, as well as his own brother Orenthal's claim to the royal throne.
When Corporal Vile creates anarchy in the kingdom with a frozen eclipse, Apollo and his nemesis - Dr. Benign - must work together to stop it.
While attending a fancy dinner party at Castle Bellenus, Apollo uncovers a plot to assassinate the Royal Family. Can he save them... or will he just embarrass himself?
Apollo and his hero friends go on a camping vacation to relax, but end up stumbling upon the nefarious rituals of an evil cult.
Apollo finally has the opportunity to return to Earth. But before leaving, he risks everything by visiting Daphne to convince her to follow her true destiny.
