Donald Duck would never believe it, but he suffers from sleepwalking. In this blessed innocent state he makes a nightly call at Daisy's, as if it were the time of their romantic appointment; knowing one should not wake or contradict a sleepwalker, she plays along, but finds it increasingly difficult to follow Donald and prevent him coming to harm when he ignorantly strolls the most dangerous places, such as the lion's cage in the zoo, including impossible ones, such as up a wall and even upside down. When she finally gets Donald safely in bed, he wakes up and thinks, seeing her sneak out, she's the sleepwalker...Sleepy Time Donald (1946)

The high mountains are a dangerous place for humans, so valiant rescue dogs mount the guard, keeping their casks of brandy at the ready. So does Pluto, too proud to play a single paw-move with a jolly polar seal-pup, who simply sees the wooden thing as a fun toy, but the bumbling beast soon discovers the perils of the ice-scape extend to canines who snootily stick their snout too high to see where they tread: he stumbles into the ice, gets caught under it and passes out. The slick seal bravely dives in after him to pull his unwilling playmate out, already covered in a huge ice-block, and puts the cask to miraculously effective use on its carrier.Rescue Dog (1947)

The Story of Menstruation (1946)

Сюжет (англ.)
The story of menstruation begins, as the motherly narrator informs us, with the pituitary gland - a gland at the base of the brain that sends hormones throughout the bloodstream that order growth. When a girl reaches an age somewhere between 11 and 17 - the average is 13 - the pituitary gland sends maturing orders to the ovaries, which in turn order the uterus to create a thickened lining, filled with watery fluids and blood. If an egg is fertilized it will remain within that thickened lining for nourishment. But if the egg is not fertilized, the body has no use for the extra nourishment, and it passes out of the body - which is the process called menstruation. The narrator proceeds to disprove taboos against bathing or exercise during menstruation. She advises that girls should keep a calendar that keeps track of the number days between periods. And she notes how good posture, healthy foods and positive attitudes can affect the menstruation cycle. The Story of Menstruation (1946)
