Celal Tan is a well-respected constitutional law professor who lives in a provincial city has two children from his first marriage. Many years after the death of his first wife, he married a woman much younger than him, a university student, whose life he has saved in some way. In the third year of their marriage, the extremely tragic story of Celal Tan and his family begins after a big crisis happened in front of the whole family. While trying to hide the secret, the family falls into absurd and tragicomic positions. Regardless of all happenings, Celal Tan tries to keep the family together.

Серіал Величне століття. Роксолана оповідає про правління султана Сулеймана Пишного і його пристрасної любові до української красуні Роксалани. Згідно з канонами ісламської віри, султан міг мати чотирьох законних дружин і стільки наложниць, скільки зможе утримувати. При цьому, діти першої дружини ставали спадкоємцями престолу. Роксолана ще дівчинкою була захоплена в полон і переправлена до Стамбулу, де візир Ібрагім-паша подарував її султанові. Шляхом інтриг, підкупу і вмілого зваблювання українська красуня стала дружиною султана. Після прийняття ісламу вона отримала ім'я Хюррем. Сулейман звів Роксолану в ранг головної дружини, і називав її не інакше як «милої серцю». Роксолана була не тільки майстерною коханкою, але й розумною, цікавою співрозмовницею, добре розбирається в мистецтві і державних справах. Щоб реалізувати свої амбіції в султанаті, Хюррем усувала всіх, хто міг їй у цьому перешкодити. В основу сценарію лягло кілька історичних романів і середньовічних документів.

Джек просить свого приятеля Фредеріка вивчити викраденний скарб, але його вбивають, і камінь знов зникає. У пошуках вбивці і викраденої реліквії Джек вирушає в Сирію, де йому необхідно зустрітись з професором Алі Мухаммедом, осатньою людиною, якій телефонував Фредерік, і неочікувано заволодіває ще більшим скарбом - райдужкою, в якій завальвований найбільший в Стародавньому світі діамант.

This is a story of two legendary men, Karagoz and Hacivat, who lived and died by their sense of humor. Bursa, 1330. A an ancient, crowded Roman city at the border of Byzantium. Changed hands 4 years ago and the small Ottoman tribe is just being transformed as a local state, on the remains of the old Eastern Roman Empire. The story takes place in an unrecorded period time, the last 2 months in the lives of two legendary Turkish stand-up comedians, Karagoz & Hacivat? They lived and died during the first clashes of the decaying Eastern Roman Empire and the first Ottomans of the 14th century Anatolia. Their stories and characters are adapted for traditional shadow theatre of the later Ottoman Empire, in modern Turkey and all over the Middle-East, Greece, and western Asia. Their legend and the truth about their tragic deaths are twisted and distorted, although their stingy humor still lingers on. After the the leader of the growing tribe of Ottomans, Orhan Gazi, notices the talents of two construction workers, famous among their friends with their clever and unending jokes, he rewarded them. But they were executed when he learns that they were keeping their co-workers laughing at their jokes during work hours, and causing a delay in the construction of the mosque to be named after Orhan Bey.
