A Vancouver based murder has just occurred and been discovered. At the beginning of each episode, not only is the victim(s) identified to the viewer, but also the killer(s). The disparate group of Vancouver Homicide detectives, with help from the Coroner's office, have to wade through the evidence which will lead them through the more often than not less than straightforward path to discovering the killer(s) and his/her/their motive. That motive often is not fully understood by the detectives until they catch the killer(s). На території Ванкувера починають з'являтися доісторичні тварини. Виявляється, що у цьому винні аномалії - портали в просторі та часі. Вивченням аномалій і динозаврів займається група простих людей під керівництвом Евана Кроса. Його команді, що складається з експерта з фізика, експерта з хижаків та фахівця з безпеки, доведеться зіткнутися з альбетозаврами, демонозаврами, птеранодонами, титанобоами і багатьма іншими невідомими хижаками.

Gaeta when he is sent off in a Raptor with a handful of strangers and one of them mysteriously dies. The psychological human-vs.-Cylon struggle is played out in the restrictive confines of a Raptor as everyone is a suspect, and paranoia sets in among the group.
