Сюжет
Коли одного з її учнів підозрюють у крадіжці, Карла Новак — молода вчителька-ідеалістка — вирішує докопатися до суті справи. Однак її, на перший погляд, невинні дії згодом призводять до серії крадіжок у школі. Події розгортаються у бік найгірших сценаріїв, викриваючи усі негативні риси системи освіти, впливу вчителів, батьків та учнів одне на одного. Одна драматична подія перетворюється на психологічну війну, а сама Карла опиняється між своїми ідеалами та шкільною системою, де наслідки її дій загрожують зламати її саму.
