Welcome to the 1980s TV horrorshow that never was . . . again. Set around Halloween, PHANTASMATAPES II is a psychotronic VHS mixtape that reimagines ATOM AGE VAMPIRE (an Italian mutation of Georges Franju's EYES WITHOUT A FACE) and DON'T LOOK IN THE BASEMENT (the gritty proto-slasher from filmmaker S.F. Brownrigg) as a late-nite, home-taped double feature—complete with local TV commercials and a new synthesizer score from Taken by Savages (JUNGLE TRAP).
