Mitchell leaves the comfort of suburban bliss convinced that no-one can assess life who has not experienced it first-hand. Clear about what is not appropriate for her, she is searching for what is: a choice. She takes a job at an inner-city hair salon and a room in a nearby boarding house. Here she meets Gaye, who lives on love and spurts on her asthma inhaler. Through a quirk of fate she meets Rex in the hall with not much on but the imprint of a boot on his behind. She takes him in, captivated by his smile. They warm to one another at once. Rex appreciates Mitchell's style and is impossible to ignore. The drawback is he comes fully loaded: Mitchell discovers that where Rex is trouble follows close behind.

Беккер - представник компанії «Кока-Кола», справжній американець, який пишається компанією, приїжджає в Австралію, щоб просувати там цей чудовий продукт. Він відразу ж виявляє район, не охоплений продажами напою, і відправляється туди особисто. Там він знаходить старого, що виробляє прохолодні напої на фабриці з власної сировини. Беккер намагається перетягнути впертого старця на свою сторону, а також заводить роман з його дочкою.
Сюжет
Беккер - представник компанії «Кока-Кола», справжній американець, який пишається компанією, приїжджає в Австралію, щоб просувати там цей чудовий продукт. Він відразу ж виявляє район, не охоплений продажами напою, і відправляється туди особисто. Там він знаходить старого, що виробляє прохолодні напої на фабриці з власної сировини. Беккер намагається перетягнути впертого старця на свою сторону, а також заводить роман з його дочкою.

Це - сікач, гігантська і безжальна істота, потворне і страшне породження природи, чотирьохсот кілограмова тварюка з гострими як бритва іклами.У тих самих місцях, де бродить сікач, без сліду зникає американська журналістка. Її невтішний чоловік вирушає на пошуки зниклої дружини і потрапляє в круговерть кошмару і жаху, що зачаровує.

Along with their new friend Judy, they discover a box of walkie-talkies -- and find out that a gang of criminals intends to use them to monitor police signals during a bank robbery. When the young trio snatches the devices, it propels them on a hair-raising adventure in which their pedaling skills might just save their necks.

A parody/homage to Gilbert and Sullivan's Pirates of Penzance, The Pirate Movie is a comedy/musical utilizing both new songs and parodies from the original, as well as references to popular films of the time, including Star Wars and Raiders of the Lost Ark. In your typical boy meets girl, boy loses girl, boy fights girl with swords plot, the story revolves around Mabel, the youngest of Maj. Gen. Stanley's many daughters, and Frederic, an ex-Pirate of Penzance. They fall in love and proceed to retrieve the Stanley's fortune from the Pirates (stolen 20 years ago). The Pirate King informs Frederic that due to him being born on Feb. 29th (during a leap year), Frederic is still technically the King's apprentice. Frederic must then decide between duty and honor, the only good qualities the King taught him, and true love.
