Йон, викладач літератури, збирається вдруге одружуватися зі своєю колишньою студенткою удвічі молодшою за нього. Проте не все так просто. По-перше, мати нареченої, яка аж ніяк не підтримує цього шлюбу, вимагає від нього виплати позики ще до весілля. По-друге, плани створити поле для гольфу на невеликому острові не увінчалися успіхом. По-третє, кращий друг у пиятиці загубив черевика. І врешті-решт його переслідують спогади про колишню дружину. Після білої ночі, проведеної в роздумах, чи встигне він на власне весілля?
