XIII століття, епоха хрестових походів. Папа Римський доручає своєму бастарду Максу, відомому своєю жорстокістю, відправитися на північ і підпорядкувати волелюбних земгалів, відкидаючих християнство. Макс отруює правителя земгалів в надії, що спадкоємцем стане один з його ставлеників, але той на смертному одрі віддає кільце королів кмітливому і хороброму простолюдину на ім'я Намей.
Сюжет
XIII століття, епоха хрестових походів. Папа Римський доручає своєму бастарду Максу, відомому своєю жорстокістю, відправитися на північ і підпорядкувати волелюбних земгалів, відкидаючих християнство. Макс отруює правителя земгалів в надії, що спадкоємцем стане один з його ставлеників, але той на смертному одрі віддає кільце королів кмітливому і хороброму простолюдину на ім'я Намей.Сюжет
Кейко втратила все під час Великого землетрусу Хансін і протягом двадцяти років живе самотньо, не здатна попрощатися зі своїм минулим. Її повсякденність змінюється, коли вона неохоче приєднується до групи японських жінок, які вирушають до Риги на показ кімоно. У казковій атмосфері латвійської столиці Кейко несподівано опиняється в центрі уваги й поступово повертає собі впевненість. Та за лаштунками виступу вона зустрічає чоловіка, схожого на її чоловіка, який зник після землетрусу двадцять років тому. Кейко мусить з’ясувати, чи справді він повернувся, чому з’явився саме тепер і чи готова вона зустрітися з минулим. Подорож допомагає їй переосмислити втрату, самотність і власне життя. Незвичайна зустріч відкриває можливість завершити стару історію та почати новий етап.
Сюжет
