Сюжет

Глибока психологічна драма польського режисера Анджея Мунка, завершена Вітольдом Лесевичем після трагічної загибелі Мунка під час зйомок. Події розгортаються на трансатлантичному лайнері, де випадково зустрічаються колишня в’язниця Освенцима Марта та її наглядачка Ліза. Через спогади Лізи глядач занурюється в атмосферу концтабору, де розгортається напружений психологічний поєдинок між двома жінками. Фільм заснований на повісті Зофії Посмиш «Пасажирка з каюти 45» і став важливою віхою в польському кіно, отримавши міжнародне визнання, зокрема приз ФІПРЕССІ на Каннському кінофестивалі.
