Серіал про дівчинку-робота, яка не пам'ятає своє минуле. Мисливець за головами і за сумісництвом кібер-лікар знайшов на звалищі голову і пришив її до тіла кіборгу. Таким чином з'явилася дівчинка. Не дивлячись на те, що вона кіборг, мізки у неї людські і вона закохується. Намагаючись заробити гроші і потрапити у верхнє місто, дівчинка стає мисливцем за головами і їй доручають убити того, кого вона кохає.

Для боротьби зі злочинністю у сфері комп`ютерних технологій кібер-поліцією міста Едо відновлюється феодальна практика хомен, тобто залучення до поліцейської роботи злочинців-хакерів, засуджених на терміни, які явно перевищують довічні.Троє таких злочинців - Сенгоку, Гогул і Бентен - відбувають покарання в орбітальній в`язниці. Від нудьги і безвиході вони погоджуються на угоду з поліцією - виконувати найнебезпечніші завдання в обмін на певне зменшення строку покарання...
