Over the next few months, they spoon, kiss, and find happiness. Then, she receives a letter from Kabul, demanding that she return to the palace of the grand vizier. The lovers part, heartbroken. Zero tries expressing himself to a woman on the street. He meets derision. Then, news of Beatrix. Does this romance end in smiles or tears?

1928 року кінофабрика ВУФКУ видала фільм Миколи Шарлеманя «Конча-Заспа». Зафільмований у державному заповіднику «Конча-Заспа», що на той час функціонував на південній околиці Києва. Кінофільм мав великий успіх і демонструвався навіть на ігровому екрані (наприклад — 5 місяців поспіль у лєнінґраді) і став першим документальним фільмом про охорону природи в УРСР. Крім краєвидів природи, фільм демонстрував науковців науково-дослідної станції заповідника за роботою.
