Rocky and Bullwinkle are aboard the good ship Athabasco to go hunting for the legendary wailing whale, Maybe Dick. Bullwinkle and shipping magnate, Pericles Parnassus were exchanging a farewell handshake when the boat was leaving the dock, so when Bullwinkle let go, Parnassus fell into the ocean. Rocky dropped a liferaft around his head, but didn't grab on to it refusing to let go of his walking stick and gloves, and sank like a rock. Bullwinkle dived in to save him, but forgot he couldn't swim. Bullwinkle got stuck in the liferaft, and Rocky pulled Bullwinkle and Parnassus out of the water. Athabasco is heading out to sea, when all of the sudden, the ship was heading straight for lady liberty, Rocky and Bullwinkle did a frantic search for the missing captain, until Rocky heard the voice of Capt. Peachfuzz from the control room. Rocky told Peachfuzz to go full speed ahead, knowing that Peachfuzz would do just the opposite. Rocky and Bullwinkle were set to catch Maybe Dick, they had to
