Сюжет
Фільм розповість про події з 1958 по 1970 роки, тобто про провідні світові турніри - Чемпіонати світу. За цей час Едсон Арантіс ду Насіменту встиг взяти участь в чотирьох чемпіонатах світу і тричі підняти головний трофей турніру над головою (лише в 1966 році, в Англії бразильці не змогли вийти з групи, поступившись угорцям і португальцям), пройшовши шлях від кращого молодого гравця турніру в 58-му році в Швеції, до кращого гравця чемпіонату в Мексиці 70-го. Фільм побудований на документальних кадрах, в тому числі з чемпіонатів світу та інтерв'ю, як самого Пеле, так і його не менш легендарних колег по збірній - Маріо Загалло, Роберто Рівеліно, Жаірзіньо та інших.
