Jim's past and present are irreconcilable. Jim (Jai Koutrae) exists in a place haunted by the emotional aftershocks of his past. His wife, Louise (Sandra Stockley) knows nothing of his former life, but Jim's past and present collide when Louise is confronted with the reality of Jim's world - his life with Catherine (Ruth McDonald). Jim is taken back to the past, to relive the event that shattered the future for him and Catherine. He has to face the veracity of the moment. What happens when someone kills, but no-one is guilty? This highly visual film, set around Sydney's beaches and its ever-changing ocean, weaves between the 1970s and the present, creating a reflective landscape in which memory and all its associated distortions can be explored.

When local girls are found dead from apparent suicides, Lara wonders if Carmilla is to blame or is there a darker secret behind the mass hysteria destroying the town.

Сюжет
Світ магії та чаклунства разючий, а маги і чаклуни - дивні, здатні своїми чарівними силами змінити все навколо. Марека, головна героїня фільму, ще дуже юна, але вже в свої молоді роки володіє разючим даром - трощити і знищувати все, що їй попадається на очі. Всі бояться Мареку, навіть ті, що знаходяться поруч, часом, побоюються. Проте, дівчина використовує свої сили не на шкоду, а лише намагаючись допомогти навколишнього світу. Цим вона і виділялася на тлі інших магів і чарівників. У міру дорослішання дівчині все більше і більше подобалося займатися чаклунством в ім'я добра. Однак в світі існував ще один некромант, Шолок. Тільки ось його наміри були зовсім недобрими. І тепер в його планах - підкорити собі весь світ, використовуючи всі свої магічні здібності.
