Фільм починається зі сну сліпої дівчини Лаури Андерсон, якій сниться, як Ріккі вбиває її. Виявляється, вона телепатично пов'язана з ним. Ріккі Колдуелл довгий час був в комі, але коли отримав телепатичні сигнали від Лаури, то повернувся до життя.
