Події відбуваються на штучному острові токійської затоки, відомому під назвою 24-й район. Друзі дитинства Ран, Кокі і Шюта народилися і виросли тут. Попри все вони завжди були разом, допоки не трапився один інцидент. У першу річницю того інциденту вони знову збираються разом і їхні телефони раптом одночасно задзвонили. Їм зателефонував нібито померлий друг, який закликає їх "обрати майбутнє". Ці троє намагаються захистити свій улюблений 24-й район і майбутнє його мешканців.
