They run away from their homes when bump into each other and decide to con for once to be financially sound until they make it big. Ironically, they find it too exciting. One follows the another as they adopt fake names [Bunty and Babli] for the same and they soon become the most popular anonymous criminals of the nation. At the heart of it kicks off their romance and they decide to continue their newly-found 'talent' as their means of living. Little do they know that their shenanigans have caught the fancy of ACP Dashrath Singh {Amitabh Bachchan} big time. He leaves no stone unturned in putting them behind the bars. Meanwhile, Rakesh and Vimmi have a child and decide to quit conning for their child's sake. However, its only then when Dashrath Singh manages to get their grab. But he release them after initial incredulity about their changed intentions. Years later, Dashrath resurrects them from their commonplace but dull living to employ their conning abilities, only for nation's aid this time.

Naseeb, a story of destiny and fate, begins with a lottery ticket. A drunk who cannot pay his tab trades his 'winning' ticket to the waiter, Namdev (Pran), instead. Namdev decides to share this ticket with his three friends Damu (Amjad Khan), Raghu (Kader Khan) and Jaggi (Jagdish Raj). But when it turns out to actually be a winner, Damu and Ragu turn on the other two, murdering Jaggi and framing Namdev. Namdev goes on the run but Raghu and Damu intervene and throw him over a bridge into a river and Namdev is presumed dead. However he is rescued by a don (Amrish Puri) but no one is aware he is alive. Fast forward to ten years later - Damu and Raghu have used their stolen lottery money to build a fabulous hotel and make millions becoming very successful businessmen. Damu has used a share of his money to send his only son, Vicky (Shatrughan Sinha) to school in England. They have even employed Namdev's oldest son Johnny (Amitabh Bachchan), Vicky's best friend, as a waiter in the hotel. By coincidence (or by fate!) Johnny and Vicky who are the best of friends fall in love with the same beautiful singer, Miss Asha (Hema Malini). Julie (Reena Roy) is a childhood friend of Vicky's who is in love with Vicky, but he only sees her as a friend. When Johnny discovers this, he and Julie sacrifice their own love to ensure that Vicky and Asha get together. At the same time, John's younger brother Sunny (Rishi Kapoor) has fallen for Asha's younger sister, Kim (Kim). Kim and Asha also happen to be the daughters of Jaggi, the man Namdev supposedly murdered. Namdev returns soon after and plans to take revenge against Damu and Raghu for separating him from his two sons Johnny and Sunny. The lives of all these characters become inter wined and Naseeb becomes a poignant story about love, friendship, sacrifice, deceit, revenge and above all, destiny.

He is dedicated and believes being involved with anyone romantically may endanger her life, but changes his mind after he meets with Maya. Unknown to the entire unit, the informer was working for a gangster, who wanted all competition eliminated, and thus reign as the king of the underworld. Then Anbuselvan's world will be shattered when he and some of his team will be suspended for their involvement in the killing of a gangster, the brother of Pandiyan, while the latter vows that he will not rest until he has killed the entire team and their respective families.

Then they come upon Kabir, who apparently lives a wealthy lifestyle now along with his wife, Kamini, and sister, Kiya. They intrude in his life, find out he is having an affair with a woman named Gulabo, and blackmail him into making them partners. They also rope in a gangster-turned-Sadhu, Bata Bhai, into investing in an oil project - but are humiliated and go on the run after finding that Kabir has conned them. With an enraged Bata on their tail, the hapless foursome manage to escape to Macau with the help of a gangster, Mohsin Bhai. It is here they will run into Kabir - who is now the owner of 'Four Jokers' Casino - and make elaborate plans to avenge their humiliation as well as ensure that he winds up alone and penniless.
